FAQ
As we approach the 13th World Wushu Championships in Jakarta, with only three weeks to go, here are a few of the more frequently asked questions and their answers.

Travelling to a new country can be a daunting task but through the below FAQs we hope to make you feel a little more at ease.

1. What happens when I get to the airport in Jakarta? How do I get to my hotel?
The LOC will prepare a welcome desk at the airport with the competition logo clearly visible. The LOC crew and staff will wear uniforms and badges, so they will be easily recognisable by the participants arriving at the airport.

A bus from the airport to the respective hotels will be arranged based on arrival schedule, number of people, and the capacity of each bus. Therefore, there is potential for participants to have to wait short periods for more arrivals, please be patient during this process. The LOC will do everything they can to make your wait as short as possible.
2. What is included in my hotel booking? What if I want to stay at another hotel?
For WWC participants, the fee for accommodation includes hotel room, meals, and transportation.

If participants wish to stay in another hotel/location, they must please first receive approval from the organizing committee, and will be subject to pay USD 200 per person as a participation fee (as shown in the LOC's regulations).

4. How do I get between my hotel and the venue every day?
Shuttle buses will run daily between he hotels and the competition venue. Bus schedules will be arrange based on the number of people staying in each hotel and the bus capacity; the schedule will be announced at the hotel daily.
5. Will there be wifi at the venue?
There will be wifi at the competition venue so no need to worry about service/data roaming and the subsequent fees.
6. Is food provided at the venue? Are there any restaurants at the venue that I can try?
Food will not be provided at the venue. Three meals will be served daily in each of the hotels.

Inside the sports complex where the competition is being held there is also an Indonesian restaurant called 'Pondok Lagunas' where participants can try the local cuisine. (Participants will need to cover their own costs when eating anywhere other than the hotel). Each hotel will have a local liaison officer with whom participants can make any special arrangements that might be necessary.
